Brandon Jackson, PT, MPT, CSCS Brandon Jackson, PT, MPT, CSCS

Brandon graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah with a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-physical Therapy in 1996. He then obtained his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy in 1999 from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. His professional accomplishments include the following:
  • Founder/Owner of Jackson Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in 2002.
  • Extensive post-graduate training in manual therapy from Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars (MAPS) and the International Spine and Pain Institute (ISPI).
  • Certified strength and conditioning specialist from NSCA
  • Physical Therapist for the Adidas Professional Tennis Development program. Team includes world-famous trainer Gil Reyes and Orthopedic/Sports Medicine physician Randall Yee, D.O. Recent players include Fernando Verdasco, Marcos Baghdatis and Ana Ivanovic.
  • Clinical instructor for various physical therapy education programs

  • Post-surgical rehabilitation (total joint replacement, post-surgical spine fusion, laminectomy, disc replacement, rotator-cuff and labral repairs)
  • Neck pain and back pain, degenerative disc disease, arthritis of the spine.

When he’s not working, Brandon enjoys spending time with lovely fiancé, Tiffany, and their kids. He also enjoys:

Brady Powell, PT, DPT Brady Powell, PT, DPT

Brady graduated from Brigham Young University (Provo, UT) with a BS in Microbiology in 2007. He then pursued his physical therapy degree from Texas Tech University Health Science Center (Lubbock, TX), obtaining his doctorate (DPT) in 2011. He received his PT license from the state of Texas in 2011 and has significant background in both outpatient orthopedics and geriatric care working in outpatient orthopedic clinics, hospitals and nursing facilities in Texas. He also served as a clinical instructor for PT and PTA students. He received his PT license from the state of Nevada in 2015. He has taken post graduate courses in manual therapy from IAOM-US (International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine) with training for treatment of lumbar and thoracic spinal disorders. Areas of specialization:
  • Lumbar and thoracic spine stabilization and manual therapy
  • Shoulder disorders ranging from impingement/rotator cuff to adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder)
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation: cervical and lumbar fusions; total knee replacements; hip replacements; shoulder rotator cuff repair/SLAP
  • Geriatric and Fall prevention/balance training
He enjoys the outdoors (hiking/camping), all sports, and reading

Casey Bartolo, PT, MPT Casey Bartolo, PT, MPT

Casey was born and raised in Las Vegas before attending Colorado State University, receiving her Bachelor’s in Sports Medicine. She was one of two students selected and funded by the State of Nevada to pursue a physical therapy degree, knowing she would return and practice in Nevada. She received her Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota. Casey returned to Las Vegas in 2002, and started her career at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, developing their specialized stroke center. She later began working as an outpatient physical therapist in an orthopedic clinic, and later opened her own physical therapy clinic. She has experience in many different aspects of physical therapy such as orthopedics, neurological, home health, and chronic pain. Her hobbies include snowboarding, baseball, ATVs, gardening, and her kids.

Diane VanVlack, Office Manager Diane VanVlack, Office Manager

Diane is our Lien Specialist. She has over 20 year’s healthcare experience. Diane is a senior billing, coding, collections and claims specialist in critical areas such as Radiology Services, Mental Health and both Inpatient and Outpatient hospital services. Diane is a critical part of Jackson Physical Therapy as she works with our attorney partners and their staff regarding therapy authorization for Motor Vehicle Accidents and Personal Injury accidents. She relocated to Las Vegas from the Youngstown Ohio area in 2013. In her spare time, Diane enjoys activities with her family such as boating and swimming.

Tiffany Baldwin Tiffany Baldwin, Front Desk Receptionist/Scheduler

When it comes to creating a warm and friendly front desk experience, Tiffany goes with a Mr. Rogers philosophy: “somedays you need a friendly face to motivate your good intentions.” So when you’re greeted by Tiffany, expect a kind smile and welcoming conversation. Tiffany began her career in the beauty/customer service industry as a teacher for Aveda in 2008, where she excelled in inspiring and motivating young people to reach their career goals. Her love for creating an over and above experience is still embedded in her approach with every patient here at Jackson Physical therapy.

Mercedes Renteria, Technician Mercedes Renteria, Technician

Mercedes was born in Baytown, TX. He moved to Vegas when he was 3 years old. He attended University of Nevada Las Vegas pursuing a Bachelors of Kinesiology degree. He has training in CPR and First Aid. Through his experience as a physical therapy technician, he has gained a plethora of knowledge such as Russian therapy, Kinesio taping, and a solid understanding of physical education pertaining to gym settings. Beyond the physical therapy aspect of the clinical setting, he has branched out and explored the marketing aspect. Through this endeavor, he has nurtured and developed many clinical relationships that have benefited clinical growth. He is a multitasker who thrives on a challenge and welcomes any opportunity to grow. Mercedes plans on pursuing further opportunities in the physical therapy occupation. Outside of work life he enjoys time spent with family and friends. Any activity that involves outdoor sports is something he enjoys. He also spends most of his leisure time at the gym or with his dog Khloe.

Karinne Crook, Technician Karinne Crook, Technician

Karinne was born and raised in Las Vegas. She went to the Nevada School of Massage Therapy and graduated in 2010. She went on to get Animal Massage Certified from UNLV in 2012 and hopes to become an Animal Physical Therapist someday.

Danielle Risk Danielle Riske

Danielle is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. She graduated from PIMA Medical Institute in 2014 and has completed continued education in Athletic taping and Keniso Taping. She is from Chicago, but has lived in Las Vegas for 15 years. She loves anything Disney. She been playing guitar for 10 years, and loves the beach!

Austin Madriaga Austin Madriaga

Austin was born and raised in Philippines. He moved to Las Vegas in 2002 and has lived in the city ever since. He is currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Kinesiology at UNLV and is an aspiring Physical Therapist. He is a member of a national co-ed service fraternity called Alpha Phi Omega, where he continues to give back to the community through service projects. Also, he likes to go to concerts, breakdance, and spend time with his friends and family.

Amber Martinez Amber Martinez

Amber graduated from Texas A&M Corpus Christi with a bachelors degree in Kinesiology Pre-PT. She is certified in CPR and first aid. She is originally from Corpus Christi, Texas. In Texas, She also worked as a physical therapy technician and gained experience in aquatic therapy. She has been living in Vegas for over a year. She enjoys books, art, and music. She is also a fan of movies, especially science fiction and horror. She believes in team work and always greeting people with a smile.

Mike Farren Mike Farren

Originally from Indiana, Mike moved to Las Vegas in 2011 to pursue a career as a Physical Therapist Assistant. For two and a half years he worked as a PT Technician for a local outpatient clinic before being accepted into the PTA program at the College of Southern Nevada. In 2016 Mike graduated high honors with an Associate of Applied Science degree for a Physical Therapist Assistant. He received his PTA license in the state of Nevada and is CPR certified. In his spare time Mike enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, biking and golfing.
